“And also, get rid of Valentine’s Day and daylight savings time. Or whichever one makes it dark earlier.”
I know this line was very not the point of this post, but it made me chuckle. I wonder every year when will they finally make official what everyone else thinks about daylight savings, especially parents! Thanks 😆
Yes, love the word “through.” I posted this week about the travel of God-strong pilgrims through the dry valley (Psalm 84:5), where they both give and receive refreshment, growing stronger as they go!
I enjoyed these! And I loved this quote: "If you ask me, I will tell you. I will tell you God is good and life is hard. I will tell you to keep going, but look back. I will tell you to see what God has done as you prepare for what He will do. And I know what He will do: He will carry you through. […] God’s favorite word is ‘through.’ […] Ask me what I know and I will tell you that God will carry you through." It makes me think of something Eugene Peterson wrote, about how "instead" is "a gospel word." I'll enjoy thinking now of how "through" is so close to God's heart.
Love how the you let the Lord use you to remind and inspire others! Used the getting through today at the end of a funeral message! It hit home!!

Thanks for the little reminders. This is a good read to end a long week.
It's a small thing, but I'm a Mary Ann, and it was so fun to see my name pop up! :-)

This made me smile so much! Never stop these posts, my friend. This world needs it!
