Q: What do you say to someone who says they don’t like poetry?
A: I would not tell them that they do because no one likes to be told they are wrong, but I would ask a few questions.
What was your first kiss like?
When was the last time beauty left you speechless?
How did you make it through heartbreak?
What is your favorite flower?
Where did you watch the most beautiful sunset?
What was it like when you saw the ocean for the very first time?
What sends chills up your spine and down your arms?
How did you feel when you finally said, I love you?
Why did you last pray for peace?
When did you start believing that grace is not a lie and hope is not a trick?
What song did you dance to on your wedding day?
What do you think the voice of God sounds like?
When did you start liking poetry?
