Wake up before the sun to pray.
You don’t have to fold your hands or bow your head or close your eyes.
You can just speak to God.
He is listening.
Talk with Him like He doesn’t already know everything.
He knows everything and still cares to listen. 
Sip your coffee and watch as He brings the sun above the horizon.
See the light and remember great is His faithfulness.
See the colors and remember His mercy endures forever.
Pray for the sick and hurting.
Pray for the lost and searching.
Pray for the brokenhearted and the heartbreakers.
Pray for your enemies and friends and everyone between.
Pray for yourself.
Pray for anything and everything.
Place it all in His hands.
Don’t worry.
God has big hands and can hold what you’re handing Him. 
And when you have nothing else to say, be.
Listen. 
God is speaking.
Hear Him announce peace and forgiveness.
Hear Him invite you into rest.
Hear Him say you are not alone. 
Hear Him as He reminds you of hope.
Hear Him speak of love, because He does.
He loves.
